The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP), which has increased its vaccination target to 1 lakh a day has come up with a three-pronged approach to achieve this. It has decided to conduct mega vaccination melas every Wednesday, and hold mega vaccination camps, where around 2,000 people can get vaccinated in a day.
The ongoing nationwide COVID-19 vaccination drive, that was launched on 16th January 2021, is going to be exponentially expanded from 1st March 2021.
It will cover following age-groups:
- All citizens above 60 years of age, and
- Those within the age bracket of 45 to 59 years with specified co-morbidities
To ramp up the COVID vaccination capacity manifold, significantly large numbers of private hospitals are going to be engaged in this drive.
CSI HOSPITAL has shows initiative for FREE COVID VACCINATION, Our hospital must adhere to strict norms of due process, quality and safety including integration with the National Co-Win technology platform and BBMP. Further, adequate number of vaccinators and support staff must be present at CSI Hospital serving as CVCs. Adequate arrangements must also be made for addressing Adverse Event Following Immunization (AEFI).
