Casualty And Emergency Services
The department caters to all medical and surgical emergencies including Medico-legal cases. The Department does not have facilities to handle Polytrauma and Head injury cases at this time.
Patients who attend the Casualty are seen by the Casualty Medical Officer and depending upon the condition of the patient either treated on an out-patient basis or admitted to the hospital for further management.
The casualty has the equipment and manpower required to stabilize critically ill patients.
Patients who require specialist consultation and care are referred to the Medical Officers of the respective clinical departments.
Those patients who require services beyond the scope of the services of the Hospital are referred to other hospitals after providing First-Aid.
